The whole thing about how we "cheated" Death, and now it's after us... doesn't seem too out there, after what we've seen at this point.

The part where she thought she had to kill people to make it stop sounds just nuts, though. And like, obviously it didn't work... and it seemed kind of unnatural how the idea was so firmly planted in her head that she couldn't shake it, even when she had every reason to doubt it...

Mm. Where I'm from, there are Arts that can do things similar, so I think an outside influence makes sense. Especially since she seemed so...
